Judge Neil Gorsuch is one of the nominees for the Supreme Court. Some drama has been going on about what he said and what would happen if he gains authority. He is President Trump’s nominee and there are a few interesting things you should know about him.

1. Background

Gorsuch has been US Court of Appeals judge for 10 circuits, since 2006.

2. Privileges

Compared to lower court judges, when appointed for Supreme Court, Gorsuch will not have to file financial disclosures such as privately funded seminars.

3. Source of earning

Since federal judges are allowed to earn with some amount restrictions, Gorsuch earns by teaching. He is a professor of Law at the University of Colorado Law School.
