With the rise in online dating being catfished is a real danger. Even if it isn’t dangerous it can be quite a nuisance to invest so much time and effort into a relationship with a person that doesn’t even exist. This is how you’ll know if you’re being catfished or not:
10. They get too serious too quick
If they take the relationship too fast, saying I love you after just a few days or making large scale plans too quick, they’re probably cat fishing you and trying to gain your trust.
9. They don’t Skype
If they always seem to be making excuses for why they can’t video call or just straight up refuse to show their face in a live video it’s because they aren’t who they claim to be.
8. Asking for money
If they often ask you for money and the amount of money gradually increases without them ever paying you back, then you’re being scammed.
7. Model looks
If their pictures look like they’re photo shopped or seem like they were taken in a photo shoot they probably belong to some model or mildly famous person.
